Anton Baldeschwiler, who went to Brillion recently, returned home last week with a bride, having been united in marriage with Miss Minnie Pritzl, at Brillion on Nov. 5, 1907. They have taken up their residence on Mr. B's farm in the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis. The Courier extends congratulations.

Minnie was born 19 JUL 1882 in Brillion, Calumet County, Wisconsin. Minnie⁽¹³⁴⁾ was the daughter of Anton PRITZL and Mary ZIPPERER Pritzl. Minnie died 31 OCT 1968 in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin, at 86 years of age. His body was interred 28 APR 2006 in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin, St Bernard's Cemetery. He married twice. He married Grace KINNEY Baldeschwiler in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin, 7 JUN 1939. Grace was born 15 SEP 1915 in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin. Alfred L. Baldeschwiler, age 89, of Thorp, died on Monday, April 24, at Oakbrook Health and Rehab, in Thorp. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2006 at St Bernard-St Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. Fr. Keith Apfelbeck will celebrate the mass and burial will follow at St Bernard's Catholic Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Raymond Osowski, Michael Osowski, Ralph Zoborowski, Paul McEwen, Edie Bergland and Jerry Bergland. Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Alfred Leo Baldeschwiler was born on November 11, 1916 in Thorp, the son of Anton and Minnie (Pritzel(sic)) Baldeschwiler. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at the Thorp Catholic School. Alfred was united in marriage to Grace Kinney on June 7, 1939 at St Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. He took over his family farm, south of Thorp, where they raised their family of six children. They operated the farm until selling it in 1972. Alfred also had his own business, "Alfred's Sales and Service", where he sold farm equipment. After selling his farm he bought a hobby farm near Thorp where he lived until 1977, at which time they moved to Lake Wissota. Alfred then went to work for Darley Pump in Chippewa Falls, until retiring in 1982. His wife, Grace, died on September 18, 1982. He married Dorothy Romanowski in November of 1983. Alfred resided with his daughter Alfretta, from April of 2003 until entering Oakbrook Health and Rehab in June of 2005. He had many interests, but especially loved playing cards, bowling, Marten birds and gardening. He will be sadly missed by three daughters, Lila McEwen of Chugiak, AK., Ellen Zoborowski on Minong, WI. and Alfretta (Jim) Danielewics of Minong, WI; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Jerry Osowski of Lutsen MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Grace; two daughters, Susan Osowski and Mary Baldeschwiler; one son Nicholas Baldeschwiler; one brother, Raymond Baldeschwiler; and four sisters; Monica Oberle, Rita Stav, Betty Harper and Elsie Hoffman. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Oakbrook Health and Rehab. Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

7 vi. Elizabeth BALDESCHWILER Harper⁽¹⁴³⁾ was born in Brillion, Calumet County, Wisconsin 10 SEP 1928. Elizabeth died 13 MAR 1974 in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin, at 45 years of age. She married Roger HARPER in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin, circa 1948. Roger was born circa 1925 in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin.
