Peter was born 25 OCT 1909 in Marshfield, Wood County, Wisconsin. Peter(540) was the son of Michael STANGL and Theresa BOHMAN Stangl. OBIT - Margaret C Stangl - MNH - from RJ PRitzl - April, 1999 Margaret C Stangl, 90, of 215 E Doege St., died at 12:45 p.m., April 15, 1999, at St Joseph's Hospital's Hospice Care Unit where she was admitted on April 6, 1999 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday at St John's Catholic Church with the Rev Charles D Stoetzel, pastor, officiating. Helen Brinkman will be the organist for the St John's Church Funeral Choir. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be John Nordbeck and Mike and Jim Stangl. Serving as active pallbearers will be Jeff Pritzl, Jon, Gregg, Patrick and Tom Stangl and Russ Hebert. Visitation will be from be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rembs?kundinger Chapel and again from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. St John's PArish Council of Catholic Women Rosary Service will be held at 5 p.m. and St John's Parish Rosary Service, combined with the Knights of Columbus Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., both on Sunday at the funeral chapel. Mrs Stangl was born July 17, 1908, at Bellville to Ernest and Elizabeth (nee Baughn) Collier. She was married to Peter J. Stangl on Oct 6, 1931, at St John's Catholic Church. She attended Marshfield elementary schools and graduated from McKinley High School. Prior to her marriage she worked for Deming and Deming Law Firm in Marshfield. After her marriage she was a homemaker who cared for her three children. Margaret enjoyed handiwork, especially tatting, swimming, golf, taking walks, traveling and musical performances. She attended many sporting functions in which her family participated. In addition to being a member of St John's Catholic Church, she belonged to the Marshfield Senior Citizens Club. Surviving are her husband, Peter Stangl; her children, Shari Stangl of Marshfield, Donald (Joan) Stangl, also of Marshfield and Nancy (Carl) Brazell of Kingsland, Ga. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Gregg (Judy) Stangl, Renee (Gene) Bommersbach and Shelby (Dick) Hannum all of Marshfield, Jon (Lisa) Stangl of Stratford, Sara (John) Nordbeck of Greenville, Jeff (Susan) Pritzl of Valders, Lisa Pritzl of Portland Ore., Mary Margaret (Richard) Robinson of Hurst, Texas and Connie (David) Martinex of Fullerton, Calif.; 10 great-grandchildren, Mike and Mandi Stangl, Jill and Amy Nikolai, Carl and Eric Bommersbach, Jenny and Alec Hannum and Emily and Peter Pritzl. Further surviving are two sisters-in-law, Lucille Hebert of Marshfield and Delores Collier of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and her brother-in-law, Erwin (Mary Alice) Stangl of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Ernest Sr., Marshall and Charles Collier; one sister, Mary Hereford; one grand-daughter Cathy Brazell; one sister-in-law, Doris Collier and one brother-in-law, George Hereford.
