Sebring Middle School maintains two computer labs for student use. This is in addition to two mini-labs serving the technology and family consumer classes in which 7th and 8th grade students rotate on the exploratory wheel.
- Room 105 (Dell Lab) has 25 networked Dell Computers running at 533 Hz,
13 Gigabyte hard drive, 128 Mbs of RAM, and Windows 98. Students are able to research Internet,
World Book Encyclopedia, STAR diagnostic testing, Accelerated Reading,
and Word Processing. Teachers may contact Mrs. Wedig at ext. 2100 for scheduling classes in this lab.
- Room 100 (Mac Lab) has 30 networked Macintosh LC575 computer dedicated
to CCC (Computer Curriculum Corporation), but has the same research software
as the Dell Lab if additional student stations are required. The schedule for the CCC Lab is posted below.
