OBIT - Joseph N Anhalt - MHTR - Agnes Birringer - 02/01 Joseph N. Anhalt, 71, of Route 2, Two Rivers, died Thursday, April 15, at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth. Mr. Anhalt was born June 12, 1910, at Grimms, Wis., son of the late Anton and Mary Rath Anhalt. He married Marie Kocourek, April 14, 1936, at Reedsville. Mr. Anhalt farmed for many years and also worked for Whitehouse Milk Company, Manitowoc, until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Marie; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Floyd and Joseph at home, Richard of Cato, James and Carol of rural Manitowoc, and Daniel and Mary Ellen of Cato; two daughters; Sister Regina of New York, and Mrs. Thomas (Sandra) Jarosh of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Anna Dempsky of Manitowoc, and 12 grand-children. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Friend may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 3 p.m. Sunday where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.

OBIT - Floyd G Anhalt - MHTR - Agnes Birringer - 8/02 Floyd G. Anhalt, age 65, of 1321 E. Hwy. 310, Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Aug. 1, 2002 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center Green Bay. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday Aug 6, 2002 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish - Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien with military rites following the Mass accorded by the Two Rivers VFW and American Legion posts. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. Floyd was born Sept. 2, 1936, son of the late Joseph and Marie Kocourek Anhalt. He was in the United States Army, serving in Korean. Floyd was a lifelong farmer. He was an active member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and served as an usher. Floyd was an avid lover of dogs and always had several of his faithful companions with him. Survivors include four brothers and two sisters-in-law: Jim and Carole Anhalt, rural Manitowoc; Dan and Mary Jo Anhalt, Cato; Richard Anhalt, Cato; Joseph "Tim" Anhalt, Manitowoc; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Sister Regina Anhalt, New York City; Sandy and Tom Jarosh, Manitowoc; 14 nieces and nephews: Scott (Angie) Anhalt, Lori (Scottie) Engelbrecht, Renee (Dusty) Kasten, Bill (Melissa) Anhalt, Rachael and Chad Anhalt, Bobbi Jo (Mike) Meyer, Chelsea F Anhalt, Paul Anhalt and special friend Jessica, Tammy (Steve) Vice, Christopher Jarosh Lisa and Bob Keil; 22 great-nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends also survive. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002 at St. Peter the Fisherman’s - Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
